Hallo,
entschuldigung aber mein Deutch ist nicht gut, Ich hoffe das English ist OK?

I'm new to this forum and have some questions regarding the Jaguar S-Type that I hope you guys can help me out with. I'm looking to buy a used S-type with a mileage of no more than 30000km and from around 2004. I've found a couple of interesting cars in Germany (I live in Sweden but it ususally pays off a great deal buying used prestige cars in Germany since the prices are lower and the market alot larger). One of them is a 2004 model with a lileage of only 8000km. It sounds good but what worries me is that is has already had 2 owners (Vorbesitzer) before the BMW seller now selling it. I really don't think that a certified BMW dealer would sell a car that has an incorrect mileage but I think it's pretty strange that a car would have 2 owners during it's first 8000km. So the question is, is it possible to find an S-Type that is so bad that 2 owners would have sold it just to get rid of it, or am I just mkaing to much of the fact that it has has 2 owners already? Do you have any hints/tips to think about when looking for a used S-Type?

thank you for your reply! I don't really know how that works in Germany but I think that a dealer in Germany is not concidered an owner (vorbesitzer) but I'm not sure. Maybe someone else in here knows?

Hi Kristian,

perhaps the BMW Dealer can send you a Copy of the car´s Documents. Then you should see who the 2 Owners were. Usually erveryone who is in the Documents is regarded as an owner.If it is that way a 2nd Hand S-Type from 2004 with 8000 Miles could be a good deal.

thanks for your input! I have e-mailed and asked the BMW dealar about the owners so we will see what they say.
